KRIs, or Key Risk Indicators, balancing performance and conformance to achieve superior governance outcomes.
KRIs, or Key Risk Indicators, are metrics, measures, and assessments — both qualitative and quantitative — that point toward both upside risks (opportunities) and downside risks (threats). KRIs can help capitalize on available opportunities as well as provide early warning signs of potential threats. They also help executive management to exploit opportunities and mitigate threats, balancing performance and conformance to achieve superior governance outcomes.
We are living through a VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) environment. In this
context,
companies need to leverage emerging technologies smartly and optimally in order to gain competitive
advantage.
How can we facilitate your digital transformation journey?
As partners in your digital transformation journey, as a best practice, we will strive to encourage
appropriate communications to promote trust and credibility with organizational stakeholders.
In a VUCA environment, accuracy, consistency, reliability, and timeliness of information are prized
greatly.
In this context, compelling data visualizations underscore relevance while automation underscores
timeliness
and reliability.
Our team can help you demystify how to leverage emerging technologies to help you gain
competitive
advantage to achieve superior governance outcomes.
While emerging technologies create a host of opportunities for organizations to reimagine
their value proposition, they are a mixed blessing. They come with a raft of new risks and
challenges as well. This is where we can help you weigh the pros and the cons, and thereby,
balance upside risks (performance) with downside risks (conformance).
We believe that in the face of exploding opportunities from emerging technologies "the thought to
finish" mantra is key. GRC Metrix offers a variety of workshops that can be tailored and customized to
fit your needs.
Guiding your Digital Transformation journey for superior Governance, Risk, and Compliance outcomes.

KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, balancing performance and conformance to achieve superior governance outcomes.
KPIs, or Key Performance Indicators, are metrics, measures, and assessments —both qualitative and quantitative — that help executive management understand how well company goals are being achieved. They also help in quantifying metrics, standardizing performance reviews, and making course corrections where needed, balancing performance and conformance to achieve superior governance outcomes.
Guiding your Digital Transformation Journey for Superior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Outcomes.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance when considered in relation to Strategy, Operations, Reporting and Compliance covers the most important functions and activities of any enterprise. It shows that at the end of the day, organizations are engaged in a judicious balancing act. They are concerned about performance (value creation) but also conformance (value preservation). There are critical metrics such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as well as Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that help track and monitor the enterprise’s results as well as risk optimization. Hence our name GRC Metrix LLC and our tagline: Balancing Performance and Conformance. Each GRC Metrix principal functions as a reflective practitioner committed to the belief that the best solutions are those which combine conceptual soundness with practical relevance.

We draw upon universally accepted and well established governance, risk, controls, and compliance frameworks and models. Specifically, we refer to the 2013 COSO internal controls - integrated framework, as well as the 2017 COSO enterprise risk management framework. We approach our clients using the "SORC" (strategy, operations, reporting and compliance) lens affording us a comprehensive view of the organization. This understanding helps with the implementation of your digital transformation projects. Digital transformation requires both digitization and digitalization. Digitization is the conversion of text and other media into machine readable forms; digitalization is the use of digital technologies and digitized data to impact how work gets done. Our GRC Metrix team can help you in your digital transformation journey, which naturally involves change management aligned with your organizational culture, values and strategy.

Passionate about results, our team of seasoned practitioners is driven by crafting client-centric solutions. As reflective practitioners with significant professional and practical experience, we will empower your digital transformation journey. We follow French philosopher and Nobel Laureate, Henri Bergson’s classic theory-practice conceptualization: “Think like a man of action; act like a man of thought.” We believe that the best solutions possess the twin attributes of being conceptually sound and practically relevant. We also believe in brainstorming and thinking hard about client problems and challenges, surfacing alternative viewpoints and strategies, and reconciling them to arrive at the best solution for our clients. Hence, the maxim: “Many voices inside, one voice outside.” We are most cognizant that clients “don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Consequently, we empathize with our clients and place ourselves in their shoes to find solutions that work for them in their respective environments.
